There are a few types of press cards in Israel for Israeli residents and citizens. \u00a0All of the these require that the person be 18 years old or older and be employed full time by a media outlet a year prior to and intend to continue a year from the application date.<\/span><\/p>\nThe first <\/span>press card<\/b> is for a full-time journalist employed by the general media.<\/span><\/p>\nA <\/span>local press card<\/b> is for a journalist employed by <\/span>local media<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\nA <\/span>press technician card<\/b> is for a full-time employee in an Israeli media outlet. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nA <\/span>media assistant card<\/b> is a card for a media assistant in an Israeli media outlet. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nA <\/span>periodical press card<\/b> is for a journalist employed by a periodical in Israel.<\/span><\/p>\nAll of the above press cards are issued for one or two years. \u00a0It is important to note that these press cards do not automatically renew, thus it is important to re-submit applications as needed.<\/span><\/p>\nTypes of Press Cards for Foreign Media Employees<\/b><\/h4>\n
